It's humbling to realize our relative size compared to the towering giants of nature and our limited time on planet Earth. The Baobab tree has silently observed the extinction of more than 16 species in Madagascar alone. To reflect our connection with nature and the need to consume less, we are creating a tree sculpture using single-use consumer materials at Burning Man, like shipping cardboard and plastic bags. Our aim is to inspire participants to leave a smaller footprint on the planet during this week-long event.
