Danie’s Story: “I had just finished teaching yoga at the bubble lounge and decided to go check out some art deep playa. I was drawn to this installation deep playa where I saw a boat docked at a lighthouse. The sun was high and super strong now so I took refuge inside the lighthouse for shade. I was thinking how I would love to get some photos here and decided to come out of hiding with my camera phone. That's when I met Jaun right there with his camera. He asked if we could shoot and I was like wow he just read my mind! After shooting we stopped for a cold water and started chatting. That's when we realised we already knew each other! We had been chatting online before the burn as I am a big fan of Jauns Burningman photography and dancers he shoots in NYC. This seams like a crazy coinsidence but when I am out here at burning man these magical moments of serandipity seem to happen all the time. This is my 6th Burn and my favorite burn. For me Burningman has become a celebration of love, life and human conection. I wish that everyone can someday have a chance to experience its magic.”
