Angie's Story: “ My 2nd burn was so much different from my 1st. I cried a lot and laughed even more, I hugged, danced, played, made new friends and reconnected with old ones. Mostly though I pushed myself and came out stronger because of it. With a last minute ticket I scrambled to get things in order while moving into a new place! I somehow magically landed a ride with a beautiful, new friend in Tahoe and showed up with only my backpacking bag, tent, water & whatever food I could fit. I camped off Esplanade so had to hike my way in and then did it all over again at the end. This last year I had struggled with my weight and image but always feel like when I am home I can break those barriers down and be unapologetically me because I feel so much love and acceptance there. I came out this year feeling refreshed, beautiful and full of life. Someone told me "If you're not hitting your highest highs and your lowest lows here then you are doing it wrong".
