Cargo Cult was hard work, fun and rewarding ‰ÛÒ spent nine days hiking the playa. I was invited to join the Documentation Team this year and was assigned to photograph the art installations on the outer playa and the Temple of Whollyness, along with Center Camp area. I became one with dustiness, achieved mellowness, and didn't shower for nine days. It also took nine hours in line with thousands of burners in vehicles occupying twelve lanes to achieve exodus from Black Rock City on to a two lane, two way rural highway. Number nine‰Û_ Number nine‰Û_ Actually, it was a bunch of fun because many people got out of their vehicles and entertained one another including a man behind me with a trailer who made quesadillas for us and this lady who stayed happy entertaining. Word circulated about a school bus filled with starving Hippies. I gave them a pile of oranges and they said thank you many times. :)
