A full scale stillframe of a bustling city street corner incorporating stark minimalistic imagery, interactive audio, luminescent props, and video projections to create a dynamic, engaging environment for participants at Burningman 2010: Metropolis. Intersection will consist of: -20 Mannequins: Each mannequin is painted white and has a speaker in place of their facial features, reflecting our subconcious homogenization of our surroundings. Texturally inspired costumes are being custom designed for each character and painted with white screen printing ink. 20 voice artists have offered us access to their most private and candid inner monologues, which will project from the speaker faces, allowing participants a glimpse into the true depth of what initially appear to be stereotypical metropolitan characters.
